Stocking Kits, Pie Contest & a Little November JOY!

Happy Monday, friends!

Well, hello, November! 🍂

Halloween is behind us, the holidays are sneaking up, and the shop is filling with projects that have me wanting to cast on just one more thing. (As if I need another project on my needles! 😂)

We've got new yarn on the way, some beautiful Christmas stocking color palettes ready to go, a winner to celebrate, and plenty of fun coming up at Knit Ewe Together!

🍂 Finish Off Fall — We Have a Winner!

Our six-week Finish Off Fall challenge has officially wrapped up, and what a wonderful collection of finished projects!

From projects that had been waiting years for their final stitches to those last few ends finally woven in, every finish deserves a celebration.

Congratulations to Mary, our Finish Off Fall grand prize winner! 🎉 She's taking home a Knit Ewe Together gift card and a project bag!

🎄 Arne & Carlos Stocking Kits — Choose Your Palette!

Christmas stocking season is here, and we've been having fun putting together color palettes for the Arne & Carlos Stocking Knit-Along!

We're offering two yarn options, each with two different five-color combinations:

Cascade Merino DK: Two palettes featuring different shades of blue, paired with beautiful holiday colors.

Cascade 220 Sport: Two palettes featuring different shades of green for a traditional or slightly more playful Christmas look.

🥧 November Hue of the Moment — Pie Contest!

Who saved room for dessert? 🥧

November's Madelinetosh Hue of the Moment is Pie Contest, and it's headed our way!

This month's colorway is a delicious combination of golden yellows, warm neutrals, and pops of berry pink and purple. Just the thing to brighten up those November knitting projects!

🧶 Pattern of the Week — Barnesmore Shawl!

Melissa found a good one for us this week!

The Barnesmore Shawl by Tania Barley is a beautiful, reversible, sideways-knit shawl that's perfect for playing with color and using those gorgeous skeins you've been saving for just the right project.

💗 Shop Small This Holiday Season!

November is a wonderful time to show a little extra love to the small businesses that make our downtown special.

Mark your calendars for three shopping celebrations:

• Pink Friday — November 20
• Black Friday — November 27
• Small Business Saturday — November 28

We'll have some special shopping fun planned at Knit Ewe Together, so watch for more details as we get closer!

And don't forget our Christmas Craft Class on Saturday, November 21, at 1 PM! More details are coming soon.

🧶 Yarn Over Sleep Over — Registration Opens November 27!

A little JOY is coming in March! 💚

Our 2027 Yarn Over Sleep Over Retreat is back, and this year's theme is “a little JOY in every stitch.”

We're offering two weekends filled with stitching, creativity, laughter, and friendship:

Overnight Retreat: March 5–7, 2027

Day-Pass Retreat: March 19–21, 2027

Public registration opens Friday, November 27! Space is limited, especially for overnight accommodations, so be ready when registration opens.

I can't wait to share another retreat with you!

🦃 Thanksgiving Week Hours

We're taking a little Thanksgiving break!

Knit Ewe Together will be closed November 23–26 to enjoy time with family.

We'll reopen Friday, November 27, just in time for Black Friday and Small Business Saturday shopping!

Don't forget our regular Make & Mingle gatherings:

• Thursdays: 4–7 PM
